In 2008 Michael Howard became the 1st official photographer in perth for the ticketing company moshtix. Where his pictures appear online at moshpix.com.au. These gig's included:

He also received the NEIS government grant to run Musical History Photography as a small business based from home, as well as gained recognition through perth street press xpress magazine.

2007 saw michael the official photographer for Artrage complex venue the Bakery shooting such acts as:

- Hot chip
- Architecture in Helsinki
- The Panics

His highlights also include photographing festivals Big Day Out, Good Vibrations and Parklife in 2007, Official photographer for WAM and online Music magazine Rockus.com.au
